Tired

It started snowing before I started back from [Teaching hospital] on Sun. The two-hour drive dragged on as I switched between radio channels, trying to find something cheerful to lift the gloom of the winter afternoon. The snow was turning to slush on the freeway and the cars zoomed past, slower than they usually do, as I carefully kept to the right lane. The wind drove the wintry mix right into the windshield and the wipers swept frantically across in vain. Every few minutes the windshield blocked out the outside world and I activated the wiper fluid to improve visibility. The world outside, when I managed to catch a glimpse of it, was black, grey, and white. The highlight was Benny Mardones singing "Into the night" on the radio. I reached home exhausted and made myself a quick dinner of butter beans and baby baked potatoes. Then I wrote for two hours before drifting into deep slumber for 10 hours.

Today was submission deadline for a proposal and a workshop I am planning to conduct on healthcare ICTs. Before I knew it, the day was over. Tomorrow I am visiting the Medical Center in town to learn more about their IT systems. Oh, I meant today (its past midnight already).
